The Marcell Anderson Foundation facilitates partnerships with community and commercial sectors like local businesses, churches and benefactors in order to suμμort the homeless and working poor. Assistance is provided. through public awareness, organized events, and the dedication from outstanding citizens who donate their time. By continuing to nurture these important partnerships we are able to successfully carry out our projects that promote education, eliminate hunger, and establish housing oμtions for the homeless and working poor.

Dorothy Rose I Executive Director

Ms. Rose is the owner of The Hair Spot LLC. a family owned business presently in operation for the past 37 years. She is a member of The Craft Advisory Board at Atlanta Technical College as well as a Board member for Tapestry Youth Ministries {a teen parenting program) for the past 10 years. As Director of The Marcell Anderson Foundation she focuses on the needs of the homeless and working poor. Ms. Rose oversees all programs - Holiday Food Drives. Handbags with a Purpose. Hot Meal Outreach, and the Re-entry Program. Skills include project management, organization, communication, and ability to engage with all populations - those that are underserved as well as others, regardless of socio-economic status.

Juan Rose | Director

Mr. Rose is responsible for providing oversight of all operations to include coordination of all food deliveries ordered for the Thanksgiving/Christmas Food Drive. He also manages and orients volunteers that work with delivery and packaging, as well as coordination of transportation for retrieval and distribution of food. Mr. Rose coordinates loading stations and delivery to various locations at the end of project. During the Hot Meal Outreach, he coordinates security. plans driving routes. and ensures that volunteers are safe when in the community. Mr. Rose is also a business and residential property contractor whose self motivated, friendly, project management and organizational skills have served us well.
